Even though the specific names given to the souls born in each of the following decades are different: 1972 – 1982: Indigo Souls 1982 – 1992: Star Souls 1992 – 2002: Crystal Souls 2002 – Present: Pure Light Souls Our definitions are based on their Soul and their purpose. The Soul Purpose of those born over this period is particularly relevant for the growth of Humankind. Silent Generation (1926 – 1945), Baby Boomers (1946 – 1964), Generation X’ers (1965 – 1984) and Millenials (1985 – present) define the economic and social changes they bring about (see Pew Research Center). These distinctions are based on a 20 year generational cycle and viewed from a commercial standpoint; from the perspective of how each generation behaves in the marketplace. Our definitions which overlap with some years from the Generation X’ers and the Millenials look from the perspective of the conscious evolution of the Souls. There is something increasingly significant about the souls born during these four decades and their role in the elevation of Humankind. The distinctions given below reflect the Qualities of each category relative to their spiritual evolution. The spiritual evolution and elevation of Light within each of the decades since 1972 has been so great that four distinct categories can be defined. 1972 to 1982 – First of the Indigo Souls: For the first ten years, from 1972 to 1982, the Indigo Souls arrived and paved the way for the next wave of even more highly evolved souls to incarnate. These Indigos are the spearheads and pioneers for the paradigm shift into a New Reality. 1982 to 1992 – Star Children: The next wave of Souls that incarnated from roughly 1982 to 1992 is called Star Children. These Souls come from highly evolved Star Systems to serve Earth and Humankind. Since their vibration is so high, they can raise the vibration of Earth by their very presence here. 1992 to 2002 – Crystal Children: According to the Ascended Beings, the Children born from 1992 to 2002 are known as the Crystal Children because they were provided a crystalline shell that encased their Five Body System when they incarnated. This shell was intended to protect their Five Body System from being damaged when they entered this harsh density. This wave of highly evolved Beings came to be known as the Crystal Children. After 2002 – Children of Pure Light: Those born after 2002 are called the Children of Pure Light, who once again are very highly evolved Souls and bring the Purest Light to our world. Many of these Souls are of the 7th Ray or otherwise have come to serve on the Seventh Ray to transmute the dross and restore Divine Order. The majority of these Souls were not equipped to withstand the density that they encountered on Earth nor for the added disadvantage of the overpopulation due to insufficient anchoring of the 4th, 5th and 6th Rays. The anchoring of these Rays would have brought the vibration of Earth, the Five Elements and Humankind to a higher level, to a place where they may have been able to successfully integrate. Instead, many of these Souls’ Five Body System went on overload and could not cope. Being brilliant, highly evolved Souls, they received rips and tears in their Emotional and Mental Energy Bodies because of the havoc this density wreaked on them.  The result is that some have developed physical, emotional and mental maladies. This includes pervasive developmental disorders, impaired abilities at social interaction and lack of communication skills and in some cases serious physical handicaps as well. Great gratitude is owed to all four classifications of these Children who chose to come to our aid and the aid of those who follow them. Their presence on Earth, vibrating their Higher Light, is of great benefit. The parents of all these very special Children also need to be recognized. Their Souls accepted to be the parents of these special children (some of whom are now old enough to be parenting their own children). Their sacrifice is no less important. This way of “being” is suitable for all of you, the so-called Children of the New Age; or the Souls who will guide the rest of us into the New Age. However, it comes with its own setbacks. One of those setbacks is a tendency to be ungrounded. Grounding means being connected to Earth, to the body, to other people, places and things in this world and benefiting from the treasures and the pleasures this world has to offer. Not being fully in this world, not being conscious of this body,  which in turn can lead to becoming scattered, disconnected, disenchanted, even depressed or unwilling to engage, are all related to and caused by a lack of Grounding. You might be surprised how different you feel and how effective and even life changing grounding exercises can be. In this section, we have grounding exercises that are simple, yet greatly effective. Performing the exercises as a daily routine is fun and the positive effects tend to build up in an aggregate manner. Grounding exercises offer you a solid foundation and basic structure with which to work and live in this world and by which you can accelerate on all fronts. Protection Grids As Indigo Souls, you have incarnated into this lifetime with certain mechanisms that allow your energetic Beingness to expand and flow. Often this can become overflow, where your energetic Beingness extends far out of the Physical Body’s parameters. You may not recognize this ability, since you only see the world through your own eyes and have no way to compare your experiences of this world with someone else’s; say someone from the Baby Boomer or Generation X categories. In essence, you have a different experience and therefore a different impression of this world. This is because you have a different purpose to serve than the generations before you. At the same time, because you are the pioneers in this field, the previous generations are ill equipped to fully guide you in the direction you need to go because they also can only see you and what you are about, from their own perspective. This too becomes a setback at times, because your needs and your sensitivities to this world are different. Therefore, many of these  needs and sensitivities are not addressed in typical main stream educational or social systems. For example, you may not realize that the source of a headache which appeared from nowhere or the onslaught of a series of angry thoughts might be something you picked up from someone in line at the supermarket, in a movie theater or at any large or small gathering of people. You  are not provided with the cause, nor effect, nor ways to prevent or protect yourselves against such situations- mainly because it is not part of the vocabulary of the generations before you. You are known as Indigos because you are more sensitive to the world, more open and receptive to all aspects of the world and you need to be protected from those aspects which often harm and hurt you. Because of your expanded energetic awareness and due to your expansive and wide open Energy Bodies, your tendency to pick up impressions and moods, is greater than average. As a general rule, you were born to this life to be more sensitive, more receptive, more trusting and more impactful. Furthermore, you are wired to vibrate to heightened Light Frequencies. It is your Mission to vibrate to higher frequency so that you can take us; our world, our Mother Earth and all the creatures of Earth, to Higher Light. You vibrate to higher frequencies of Light than the average person of previous generations. You also vibrate to higher frequencies than your surrounding environment does at present. This is because the Five Elements, which are the Building Blocks of our Reality, vibrate to a lower frequency than you; and that translates to the anomaly that your environment does not support and nurture you. In short, you could say that your plight, as an Indigo, is to drag the older generations as well as the environment you inhabit out of the ditch they have dug for themselves and up the hill to higher Light.  Therefore, you need to be protected from lower vibrational frequencies and interference. Protection is of utmost importance for you, because everywhere you go, you leave a trail of Light. This process depletes you because you cannot easily replenish yourself . At the same time, because you are wide open and receptive, you continually tend to absorb prevalent lower vibrations which then need to be released, removed and healed so you can go back to being Light and spreading Light. Protection is as important to you as the food you eat because it is another form of nurturance. Freedom from constantly being drained by your surroundings, nourishes your Energy Bodies, your Soul as well as your Physical Body. While you are younger, you may not notice these abnormalities, maladies and afflictions but with age comes the physical signs of deterioration – such deterioration is already manifest in the case of Indigo Souls afflicted with autism, asperger’s, ADD, ADHD and other disabling issues. It is the corruption and pollution prevalent in our world and within the Five Elements (Earth, Water, Fire, Air and Ether) which causes energetic and physical reaction in the Body, Mind, Emotions, Soul and Spirit of the Pure and Innocent Souls afflicted with these syndromes.
